Being a Malaysian has made me feel unique because we are different in many ways. We are surrounded by ourselves different cultures and races. Thinking back to my childhood & teenage time where I do not have a chance to mix around with others except in the Chinese community. And, my life changed completely right after my 1st job in the real world.
I always think I have a curiosity about other people especially non-Chinese. I like to be around with people from different cultures to make our conversation more interesting. I have friends from Middle East, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Ohio and many more. I started to mingle around with Malays and Indian where I started to understand more about Muslims and respect them.
In conjunction with our Independence Day this year, I would love to see us, Malaysians, be tougher and stronger mentally to continue the big challenge in life, especially after the pandemic. Life is tough and it is for everyone around the world. However, with the right mental health and determination, I feel we could encounter whatever things that came to us positively and optimistically.
MALAYSIA is still a good country to live in, especially with the food varieties here that I live to tell people about us started from our food. This is also a good time for us to travel locally with the covid is still around us.
A simple breakfast like Nasi Lemak bungus with coffee are good enough to celebrate this day.

Happy 65th Merdeka!! 🇲🇾
