What exact Townhall Meeting all about? I am actually first time came across this term. Googled around and this is what I have gotten on the true meaning.
Town hall meetings, also known as all hands meetings, are a way for company management to meet and connect with their employees. Typically, company town hall meetings are hosted by a member of upper management, either a CEO or a country/regional manager and are attended by all employees in a large conference hall.

A 35 minutes long meeting where attended by boss and few upper management to tell you what exactly for 2021. It was kind of disappointed as the first 15 minutes is reading time from the One Page Plan for 2021. What we all requesting for a meeting with boss is to hear from him directly to tell us his vision on this company as well directions on what need to be done during this pandemic time.
I feel bit helpless and hopeless after heard the owner speech. It does not give me an assurance that he has the heart to carry on this business and there are no fire in his speech to convince me that I have a good hope by continue my career here either. Maybe this is the time and right signal for me to look for another opportunity. We cannot change people business mind as this is not my business. We either live with it or leave it.
