Movement Control Order or better known as MCO is rather a very new term to us all around the world. With limit movement to just everywhere, we are only allow to stay home and go out when only necessary for essentials grocery.
For this MCO period, it has made us all realized that we should be grateful we have a life better than other. We have food on table, we have a shelter and we are safe with our family. Beside stay home, there are just nothing we can do during this period of time. I started to think, what is Year 2020 has brought to us now?
When I realized most of my resolutions set early of the year have just gone. I become demotivated for a moment. Come and think on the bright side, we can now doing some things that we may miss it out due to our busy work schedule and always be out. On my case, I am started to feel good stay at home on the Day 4 onward. Start to do things that I may not be able to do much at home, for instance, back on cooking. However, there are things that I may not do it for the longer period in my life so far.
Here are my lists that I missed during MCO.
- No make up. Just basic facial essentials on.
- No dress up. Just stick on few attires, t-shirt and short pants. Hand wash my cloths a lots.
- No driving out. Obviously never been to petrol station even though petrol price has decreased.
- No washing hair everyday. Tight up my hair more than styling it.
- Walking less than 500 steps a day.
- Started Intermittent Fasting. Started April 3.
- Cook a lot. Making my Butter Cake. Scones.
- Write a lot.
- Talk Less, Write More.
- Movie Marathon. Netflix, YouTube.
- No More Reading Newspaper. Not even News.
- No dining in. Take Away ONLY.
- Not meeting people other than my family members.
- No Workout.

Some time we are just too afraid being changed from what we are comfortable now. But the inner us always telling us to change or we do need a change. To make such a minor action, it does take a bigger courage to do so. With this covid19, MCO has became one of the issue to push us all to change, in a way. I would say the bigger change in my life after MCO is being to get used not meeting people face-to-face but via phone call or text instead. Especially it is hard to believe no face meeting can still maintain such relationship. It is so hard for me but with the current CMCO condition where social distancing is applied, leave me with no choice but to adapt.
