DAY 47 OF MCO IN PHASE 4

To Go Back or Not?

We are into Phase 4 of Movement Control Order (MCO) now. Just when we all think we are going to resume back to work after May 12, there is a new announcement saying all industries can resume back to work on Monday, May 4. I was so shocked, for sure. It was an unprepared feeling to hear the news after almost 45 days of staying home. We all have developed a habit to stay home and with a short notice informed us all to be back to work.

ANXIETY. NERVOUS.

Today is Sunday, May 3, 2020.

My last Sunday of Stay Home before I called off my MCO. I need to get ready all my working stuffs and prepare for tomorrow. I am pretty worry about the traffic tomorrow when everyone is so eager to start work and rushing out to office place. How long do I need to stuck at traffic jam before I reached office?

START WORK ON DAY 1.

I think HE heard me. At evening time, I got a message from management that not everyone need to report back to office. If my work can be done at home like the past 47 days, I do not see a need to go back just for the sick of going out. Although I wish to go out badly but not with such condition. I am thankful that I am giving a choice on this to reduce the burden of our Frontliners. Let’s not to waste our effort of 47 days so far.

Stay Safe.
