GLUTEN-Free Diet

Is Gluten-Free Diet for all?

Gluten-Free Diet or Gluten Intolerance. This is only for people with Celiac Disease or Wheat Allergy. It is not another diet plan that everyone should take. Gluten is a family of storage proteins that naturally found in cereal grains as wheat, barley, and rye.

I have heard of this term long ago but just cannot be bothered until lately it has caught my attention to do some research on it. We heard of many diet related plans out there but this diet plan is not meant for anyone because it has no benefits at all by practice this. So, do not follow trends and not all things are suitable for you. You need to know well on your own need before taking any plans.

GLUTEN Free, No Grains + Processed grains.

There are many foods that contains gluten. The main job of gluten here is used to improve texture and promote moisture retention in a variety of processed food. For instance, pizza dough. If it without gluten, the dough will rip easily. On our daily meal, breads, pasta, pizza, meats etc are contains gluten. For someone who is on gluten-free diet, these are all eliminated from the meal.

When I am trying to look through the list of foods that CAN and CANNOT be taken for a Gluten-Free Diet person. Sounds very interesting and just too many things in life contains gluten though. For Gluten-Free Diet, likes fruits & vegetable, seeds, eggs, potatoes, daily products, rice, lean meats, vinegar, quinoa, tapioca etc. For Malaysian dish, Nasi Lemak and Kopi ‘O’ are the safe menu for you.

Substitute Foods for Gluten-Free Diet

I have also written about Intermittent Fasting (IF) and Vegan Diet on my previous postings. Do look for it too. Beside these, there are also Vegan Diet, Vegetarian Diet, Ketogenic Diet, Raw Food Diet etc in the trend. Choose the one most fit into your healthy condition and lifestyle.

Stay Healthy. Stay Good. Be Safe.
