Netizen, a new term that came across that describe the ‘citizen on the net’. There are this bunch of people who actively on the internet and engaged to the community.
How I look at these bunches of people are they can freely say what they wanted without any responsible on it. Just few days ago, when FashionValet founder, Vivy Yusof has made a mistake to agree on a posting by her friend over IG. The word, ‘exactly’ has condemned her and lots of netizen have said nasty things to her despite her good intention to helps on the covid19.
With Social Media, people can just say what they feel like and think it’s right without bearing on the responsible and consequences. They have no idea it can be a cyber bully to the individual. I do agree that being a Public Figure, they need to be sensitive and think thoroughly before speak or write. People are watching every single step and some might be influenced by them.
