It is so interesting when I watched ‘The Story of Food’ on NAT GEO programme. The whole episode was telling us on the food revolutions.
What is Food Revolutions all about?
It’s highlighted the impact of genetically modified foods and how our current methods of food production are affecting the environment and our health.

We Are What We Eat.
Food always a good way to connect with people in every corner in the world regardless where and who you are.
After watched the programme, something really trigger me how amazing human changing our way of eating. Started from hunting food at jungle, eat the raw meats then cooked meats. In the video, it’s did mention why human cooked the meats instead of eating it raw because eating raw meats are taking a longer eating time. As well, it’s easy to digest.
This is the reason why our body size is changing accordingly. For instance, Homo erectus had canines than modern humans. But both still followed the evolutionary trend of generally decreasing tooth size: The sizes of our jaw and teeth have slowly been shrinking over millions years.
The world used to consume meats from starting with burger world at McD then moving to chicken meat at KFC. When there are over supplied then McD and KFC collaborated to introduce ‘Nuggets Chicken’. The world largest meat consumption is Chicken, Beef and Pork. When human is looking for alternative to sustain on the meats supply, this is where Vegetarian and Vegan are came into the picture. Something that is sustainable and replaced on the meats consumption.
By paying attention to all the details and layers of information involved in our eating, we can also awaken our gut senses — in turn helping us make better choices of the things we eat, and the amounts we eat in the future.

For a person who is still pretty much enjoying my meats, I would say everything need to be moderate for a good balance.
