Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia. It’s a federation comprising 13 states (better known as Negeri in Bahasa) and 3 federal territories (better known as Wilayah Persekutuan). Malaysia is compose of 2 noncontiguous regions, Peninsular Malaysia (also known as West Malaysia) and East Malaysia.

Not all Malaysian know well about these 13 states and 3 federal territories including myself. Being a city girl who’s grown up in the city, I am only exploring my own city when I started my 1st job back 20 years ago. Those day we don’t really hangout far or I should say myself don’t really go out lot after school. π π π
13 states includes of…
- Northern Regions (Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak)
- Central Regions (Selangor, N. Sembilan, Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya)
- Southern Regions (Malacca, Johor)
- Eastern Regions (kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang)
- Eastern Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan)
Malaysia is a multi- ethnic and multi-cultural. We are well known being able to speak more than 2 languages atleast. This is when I travel around and people feedback me after knowing where am I from. Kind of proud but lot to tell people about our country to get them to pay a visit here.

Half of the population is ethnically Malays, large minorities of Malaysian Chinese, Malaysian Indian and indigenous people (we called them Orang Asli, translate to English as ‘Original People’. These group of people are given ‘Bumiputra’ status in Malaysia.
Being a Malaysian Chinese, I feel proud to be here because we are the warmer country if you ever travelling around. I feel it with my own heart and see it with my own eyes. We, Malaysian are always friendly, helpful and always smile to traveller’s.

I do hope with Visit Malaysia 2020, we can bring Malaysia Attractions to another levels. Wishing the Coronavirus cases can be soon leaving us and everything is back to normal.
Let’s CUTI-CUTI Malaysia for 2020!
