
What exactly ‘Be Mindful’ means to you?
Just when I Google it around, it just showing me meditation related stuffs. Seriously, I’m curious to know about what it’s true meaning and to get someone to be more mindful.
After few articles read through from the Search Engine, I can sum up my thought of these 2 words, a simple phase. πππ
In Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness is broken down into ‘What‘ and ‘How‘. ‘What’ is what we are actually do when we are practicing mindfulness.
3 Simple Skills apply.

Observe, we need to be aware of what is surrounding us all times, internally or externally through our 5 senses. Touch, See, Feel, Taste and Hear.

Describe, we need to describe what we see, whether good or bad.

Participate, we need to fully throw ourselves
With these 3 skills, we can be more present to what is happening to us.
