AGE does matter, sometimes.

A lot of time we do hear over some conversation saying ‘age is not a matter.’ Actually it does in certain circumstances, I would say.

When come to workspace, we always assume seniors or people who is older generation are holding the important position in a company. Some conservative management would not even consider a young staff to hold such important or high position just because their age is too young. Unless, it is a family business.

In the Social Media world, no deny that young people are more creative and they just know the way to reach out the audience better. But somehow it does not justify that they are capable enough to make certain decision. Still, I do believe in work experience through the years. We all are growing up with experiences in life. Without it, you won’t be able to make the best decision. Or it could be just your prediction or assumption.

Saw this posting from Katherine McPhee on this. Somehow I do agreed with it.

When come to relationship, I have a different perspective on ‘Age’ though. Someone can be capable in their career or business does not means they are also mature in handling their relationship. Love does not justify by age through my experience. It is also through experiences and we are grown up.

Take Katherine as example, many people are doubt on her relationship with David Foster. The age gap is 34 years. Many of us with our assumption is how they communicate with each on such a big gap in between? I am actually not surprised because maybe it’s the personality attraction rather than materialistic. I admired David Foster talents instead.

From now on, we just cannot judge people by their age or look. Take some time to talk and get to know a person before jump into your conclusion.

Cheers πŸ₯‚!!!
